As stores slowly push out their colorful summer dresses and wool jackets styled with warm scarves come creeping in, we know that its time to start investing in staples for Fall. Meanwhile, we’re still sweltering in the underground as we await metro trains, and above ground as well, when it becomes so hot that we need to take little gelato and iced tea breaks between errands.
Our solution at the Sheena Trivedi team is to stock up on pieces that we deem transitional—versatile enough to get us through whatever-the weather and layer-proof so that we can take on (or off) the extras. Our picks? Our black cotton silk Ana top with an elongated back and our striking red, gold, silver, and black Sara scarf detailed with leather fringes.
These pieces are easy to combine with other garments to achieve maximum comfort as we navigate through those moments where we can feel the chill of late August approaching, but we remember to still bask in the summertime sun.
